Workplace Law members won't have failed to notice that the Chancellor, Gordon Brown, delivered his ninth Budget yesterday. Entitled 'a budget for hard-working families', this year’s announcements have been considered rather "neutral", lacking in any shocking revelations.
As Andrew Smith, Chief Economist at KPMG, commented after the Budget:
