A London-based construction company, Circleworth Ltd, has been fined £7,500 following the death of a 63-year-old self-employed carpenter when he fell from a scaffold.
Edward Smith was involved in a job to refurbish a semi-detached house and build a loft coversion when he fell approximately 2.4 metres from the exterior access scaffold.
