One of the issues that can be forgotten when refurbishing, extending or altering premises is the use of cranes. On 11 February 2005, two workers were killed and a third injured by crane collapse at school building site in Worthing, Sussex. In 2000, three were killed by a crane collapse in Canary Wharf, and many other crane incidents show that control of crane operations is not always properly controlled.
