The Environment Agency is reminding anyone using or storing solvents that they must comply with the statutory Code of Practice to prevent groundwater pollution.
The Groundwater Protection Code - Solvent use and storage was published last year by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to help prevent pollution of groundwater from solvent spillages, a key environmental risk.
