A number of cases have caught the eye this week regarding employment in the hotel trade.
The first case is reported by The Scotsman. Isobel Inglis left her job after ten years as hotel manager at the Westbury Hotel in Corstorphine in January 2001 - Ms Inglis said that she considered herself to have been made redundant when she was told that she was going to be replaced, and she was only offered a more junior position. The Clark Pub Company told the tribunal that a £20,000 hole had appeared... (235 more words)
