The Government has announced a new scheme to place employment advisers in GPs surgeries.
The move, part of a package of rehabilitation measures announced in chancellor Gordon Brown’s pre-budget report, was welcomed by workplace health experts from Sheffield Occupational Health Advisory Service (SOHAS), the organisation that pioneered GP-based occupational health advice services in the UK.
