Revised guidance on transport of radioactive materials

The National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB) has updated its at-a-glance guidance Transport of Radioactive Materials. The guidance is in the form of a broadsheet, which opens out to form a display poster.

Transport of Radioactive Materials (second edition) aims to give a user-friendly introduction to the subject, and:

summarises the use of radioactive materials;
explains why their transport is essential;
describes the types of packages and containers used;
