New regulations - the Income Tax (Exemption of Minor Benefits) (Amendment)
Regulations 2004 - come into force on 14 December 2004 which exempt the benefit of pensions advice and information to encourage employers to boost pensions awareness and take up among their workforce. The exemption will apply where the benefit is generally available to all employees and below a limit of £150 for each employee per year.
