Queen's Speech 2004: implications for employers

The Queen opened the 2004/05 session of Parliament yesterday, and made her traditional speech outlining the forthcoming legislative timetable. The headlines this morning have been dominated by announcements regarding national security, but there were also several announcements which will directly affect the workplace.
