Construction Act changes on hold

It is expected that proposed changes to the Construction Act will not take place until after the next general election, expected in May 2005. Originally the consultation paper was expected at the end of October. It is thought that the delay is attributable to the complexity of the matters raised in the recent review and also resource problems at the DTI.
