Property sector waits for decision on upwards-only rent reviews

Government concern at insufficient flexibility in commercial property leases led to the publication of a formal consultation document earlier this year on Upwards-Only Rent Reviews (UORR). The consultation period closed on 30 September, and the property industry now waits to discover the outcome and impact on the marketplace.
