Developments regarding the treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment

The Government is in the process of transposing Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (known as the WEEE Directive). The DTI has issued a consultation paper, draft regulations and draft guidance and has invited comments by 29 October 2004.
