Sitting at the High Court this week, Mr Justice Mackay dismissed various charges against Nicholas Pollard (former director for Railtrack London North East), Gerald Corbett (former chief executive of Railtrack), Christopher Leah (former Railtrack board director, operations) and Network Rail. The charges arose out of the Hatfield train crash in October 2000.
