West Midlands Police did not act unlawfully by revealing to an employer unproven allegations of indecency against a potential employee, it has been ruled.
The Lawyer reports that Lord Chief Justice, Lord Woolf, ruled that it was not for the courts to interfere with a decision by the Chief Constable of West Midlands Police that certain information about a social worker (known as Mr X) might be relevant to a prospective employer.
