The HSE has published a series of leaflets in different languages, providing guidance for all those working in the catering industry.
The new leaflets cover a range of information including the management of health and safety in kitchens, guidance on preventing accidents, kitchen ventilation and maintenance of equipment. They alert employers to some of the main risk areas in the kitchen, the most common being slips and trips and manual handling injuries.
