A lack of awareness and understanding of legal obligations could be preventing many businesses from managing pregnancy effectively, according to research from the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC).
The preliminary results of the research were released last week as the EOC launched a consultation with employers to gauge their views on how managing pregnancy at work could be made easier in Britain’s businesses.
