The goods, facilities and services and employment provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act give people an entitlement to information in an accessible format. Whether because of adherence to the law, or out of a genuine wish to cater to the needs of all customers and staff, many employers are now recognising the need to provide information in ways other than standard print.
