Hazardous Waste: Guidance for Employers

New rules on dealing with hazardous waste will significantly impact on all businesses, but Government has been accused of failing to inform employers on how the changes will affect them.

Regulations which came into force on 16 July rule that hazardous and non-hazardous waste can no longer be disposed at the same landfill site. Other changes, due to come into force next year, will re-establish what is and what is not hazardous waste.
