ACAS, the employment advisory service, has updated its website guidance on the importance of properly defined internet and e-mail policies.
The updated guidance suggests that businesses set out the "rights, responsibilities and limitations" on the use of a businesses IT equipment. The recent increases in cases of harassment, bullying and prejudice that goes along with the abuse of IT systems makes it ever more important for organisations to protect themselves against liability for the action...
