The HSE has launched a new interactive
consultation system on its website. This is being used for the first
time to seek views on how restrictions on HSE disclosing information
can be brought into line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(the FOI Act).
Much information the HSE holds is provided either in compliance with a
legal duty or because inspectors require it during investigations.
Currently, Section 28 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
