A fish company has been fined £6,500 for health and safety breaches after a worker suffering injuries so serious in a workplace fall he had to give up his job.
Reading Council prosecuted the Surrey Fish Company after being approached by the worker four months after the March 2002 accident. The worker, who dislocated and fractured his ankle, was forced to leave his job weeks after the incident due to the severity of his injuries.
