A coach company that has admitted breaching the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 has been fined £21,760 including costs, following the death of an employee from crush injuries, reports Safety News.
Christopher Leak, 21, was lying under a bus in order to fix it, when he released the brakes and the bus rolled over him. The company that employed Mr Leak as a mechanic, Leon's Coach Travel, failed to carry out a full vehicle recovery activity risk assessment.
