Railtrack will be charged with corporate manslaughter over the deaths of four people in the Hatfield rail crash, according to today's edition of The Times. The newspaper claims that the Crown Prosecution Service is days away from bringing charges against eight senior managers from Railtrack and contractor Balfour Beatty, in what it describes as a "last ditch attempt" to use existing laws to prosecute individuals for corporate failings.
