The HSE has published new research into falls from height, focusing on the underlying factors behind falls at work and the measures that can be taken to avoid or minimise the risk of serious injury when working at height.
The research, which draws on available Reporting of Incidents, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) accident data between 1996 and 2000, shows that construction and agriculture have the highest incidence of falls from height accidents.
