Work-related stress in the UK is undoubtedly a major issue. The HSE - which last week issued Management Standards as part of a pilot project aimed at reducing workplace stress - is currently reporting that 5 million people in the UK say that they are "very" or "extremely" stressed by their work and that work-related stress costs up to £3.8mn each year.
