Britain’s businesses are missing out on a huge pool of talent because working practices alienate women, says a new report from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The research, by Louise Ellison of Kingston University, finds that inflexible attitudes and working arrangements deter talented women from joining the sector and can drive others out.
