The Government announced last week that the 2003/4 fees for carrying out a criminal record check will be £24 for a Standard Disclosure and £29 for an Enhanced Disclosure. Both disclosures currently cost £12.
There are three levels of Disclosure available through the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB): Basic, Standard and Enhanced. Each one costs £12. Standard and Enhanced Disclosures are intended for those people whose jobs involve working with children and vulnerable adults.
