Manchester Airport has launched an internal investigation after an airport security guard, off work for three months with stress, was seen winning £12,500 on TV's National Lottery Game Show. The Airport says that no decision has been reached yet, and that the worker has not been suspended.
The Workplacelaw Network reported on a similar case in September 2002, when a policeman on sick leave was spotted on TV as a linesman in a high-profile Leeds Utd vs Manchester Utd match.
