Recent research has shown that employment prospects and pay for temporary workers are poor in the UK compared with other EU countries. Now, according to a report from the London School of Economics, they are almost twice as likely to have accidents at work.
It has long been a well-known fact that young and inexperienced workers are more likely to have accidents at work, and many employers have addressed this problem with increased training and supervision.
