Mr Barry Ramsey, a Fairground Inspector, was found guilty of manslaughter by gross negligence and sentenced to 18 months in prison at a hearing at the Old Bailey on 26 November 2002, after two people were killed on a ride he had inspected. Mr Darren Jones , the owner of the ride, was cleared of charges of exposing the public to danger.
