According to a joint survey by the Chartered Management Institute and the Priory Group, one in five managers claim that alcohol misuse has risen in the past few years. It is also estimated that 14 million working days are lost each year due to alcohol-related problems.
55% of managers feel that random testing is the solution. From this, one deduces that the management questioned in the survey think it unlikely that they would ever be one of those suffering.
