Following a recent report by the DTI, which suggested that most employers supported the new rules regarding flexible working rights, secretary Patricia Hewitt has revealed that the rights could be extended.
The regulations, which stipulate that workers with children under six and disabled children under 18 can request flexible working hours, may be extended to apply to all parents, and even all workers.
