Employers Angry about Statutory Code on Local Government Outsourcing

The Government yesterday announced its Code of Practice on Workforce Matters in Local Authority Service Contracts, which aims to ensure that all employees working on local public services get treated equally, whether they are employed directly or by a service partner.
