Fleet industry leaders are to hold talks with the Government on proposals that impose tough new limits on the number of hours van drivers can work in a week.

Officials at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will meet with the heads of organisations including the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Trades Union Congress (TUC) within the next few weeks to give their views on the plans.
