Working at height is one of the most dangerous activities that can be undertaken at work. On average, every year nearly 14,000 operatives in the UK are reported as either suffering injuries or fatalities as a result of something going wrong when working at height.
As we reported earlier this month, a recent blitz by HSE inspectors on 131 construction sites found that inadequate safety measures were in place for working at height, with a third of sites visited requiring enforcement action. D... (536 more words)
