City law firm Charles Russell, acting on behalf of the National Federation of Retail Newsagents (NFRN), has just won a significant test case affecting newspaper deliveries in England and Wales.
First reported by Workplacelaw Network back in April 2002, the case at the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) in London involved the issue of whether or not newspaper delivery boys and girls below school-leaving age (16 in the UK) were entitled to be paid during their statutory annual leave.
