New Planning Bill: Higher Compensation for Compulsory Purchase

The increase in the level of compensation for compulsory purchase - announced in the Government’s new planning bill on 4 December - will help smooth the path for major infrastructure projects in the UK, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
