The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) has called on employers, lawyers and unions around the country to have their say in the consultation on the revised Code of Practice on Equal Pay.
The Equal Pay Act 1970 gives women and men a right to equal pay for equal work. This equal pay code is aimed at employers, giving guidance on how to ensure pay is determined without sex discrimination.
