Two sub-contractors went on trial this week, charged with the manslaughter of two cleaners who were burned to death after covering the floor in highly flammable cleaning liquid.
The two cleaners were hurrying to finish cleaning the grout from tiles in a changing room at a new gymnasium. They were reportedly instructed by their managers to use a thinning solution that is highly flammable.
