Managing Dangerous and Explosive Substances, New Regulations in Force in December

The Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) were laid before Parliament on 14 November and will come into force in phases, starting on 9 December 2002. This completes the new regulations to manage hazardous substances at work, following the new asbestos, lead, and COSHH regulations.
