The DTI has published a list of anticipated commencement dates for the various provisions of the Employment Act 2002, as follows.
Part 1: Maternity / Paternity / Adoption leave and pay (sections 1-21) – Draft regulations now laid before Parliament. Operational from 6 April 2003.
Part 2: Tribunal Reform (sections 22-28) – consultation over the winter and introduction of package of measures planned for 2003.
