A teacher who says his health was seriously affected after being bullied for years by his former headteacher before being sacked has been awarded £230,000 compensation.
Swansea teacher Alan Powis, 53, has agreed to an out-of-court settlement from Neath Port Talbot council. Mr Powis was sacked in 1997 on grounds of gross misconduct, after five years of bullying by Sheena Ball, the former head of Coedffranc Junior School in Skewen.
