Most people know that if they want to enforce claims, then they must bring legal proceedings within a period of time set down by statute, otherwise the claims become prescribed (time barred). But what happens if you raise Court proceedings to enforce claims and then wait too long in progressing them? The answer is that you may have your claims thrown out! That’s what happened in the recent case of Newman Shopfitters Ltd -v- M.J.Gleeson Group plc.
