Everyone responsible for the health and safety of people in the workplace should take a look at a new research report produced by Loughborough University on behalf of the HSE. It sheds interesting light on how the courts are actually interpreting health and safety-related cases across the UK, with a suggestion that following HSE guidance should serve employers well, but in the words of the report, in some cases, they "may not be doing enough to comply with the law".
