A further draft of Part 3 of the Employment Practice Data Protection Code on
Monitoring at Work has been released by the Information Commissioner for
further consultation. A number of changes have been made as a result of the
previous consultation exercise. The main changes are:
- a recommendation that employers carry out an "impact assessment" for
monitoring, and guidelines on identifying and giving appropriate weight to
the factors to be taken into account;
