On 2 July, UK Trades Unions won the case of Wilson & others (and associated cases) in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The judgment has been heralded as a significant victory strengthening Union rights, and will probably require the Government to reverse the so-called Ullswater Amendment to the Trade Union Reform and Employment Rights Act 1993.
