The GMB union is reminding employers to allow for the fact that the England vs. Brazil game on Friday morning could go to extra time and penalties. Many employers have introduced flexible working practices where possible to allow employees to watch the game. The Union is warning that if employers forget to take into account the possibility of an extended game, it could lead to business disruption and a wave of disciplinary hearings.
