The Government has just announced a £1.5m boost to it's project to
introduce electronic conveyancing, as a result of the Land Registration Act,
which received royal assent on the 26 February this year.
The aim of the new Act (which replaces a 1925 Act), is to speed up the
conveyancing process by introducing a framework for electronic conveyancing
and setting up standards for transactions.
