The Agency Workers Directive has come under fierce criticism from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) in an article published in Personnel Today. Marcia Roberts, Director of External Relations, writes that "the patronising attitude towards the million temporary workers that help to sustain the UK economy on any one day is frankly astonishing."
