A recent survey by the DTI of 2,700 Employment Tribunal cases has revealed
the following interesting information:
- 5% of Applicants had made previous applications to a Tribunal
- 56% of employers had not faced a claim before
- men bring 7% of sex discrimination claims
- white people bring 15% of race discrimination claims
- 82% of employers said written statements of terms and conditions had been
issued, but only 60% of employees agreed
